NBA: Finals-Cleveland Cavaliers at Golden State Warriors Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

Let the annual Golden State Warriors v LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers battle for NBA supremacy begin.

These two teams have faced each other in each of the past four NBA Finals. The Warriors have won two out of their three meetings so far. They are the reigning NBA champions and are looking to repeat to win three of the last four.

The only series of the previous three that went seven games was 2016 when the Cavs won the series 4-3, giving the city it’s first ever NBA championship. The Warriors lead the Finals head-to-head 11-7.

This is also incredibly the 8th straight year LeBron James has led his team to the Finals. Starting with the Heat in 2011-14 and then the Cavs from 2015 to present. He has 3 Championship rings (2012, 13, 16), winning Finals MVP each time.

That suit with shorts he’s wearing is already the frontrunner for Finals MVP.
