Raiders add six undrafted rookies

With few roster spots available, the Raiders weren’t going to be able to go crazy with undrafted rookies as they did last year when they added 17. This year they added just six, while making room by releasing a couple of players already on the roster.

Blacknall: Played four years at Penn State, appearing in 48 games with 15 starts…Totaled 50 career receptions for 979 yards (19.6 avg.) with seven TDs…Three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection.

Cabinda: Played four years at Penn State, seeing action in 43 games with 36 starts…Finished career ranked ninth on Penn State’s all-time list with 286 tackles (115 solo)…Also totaled six career sacks, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, 11 passes defensed and one INT.

Pineiro: Played two years at Florida, appearing in 24 games…Connected on 29 of his final 30 field goal attempts…Finished career 38-for-43 on field goal attempts, setting the Florida record for career field goal percentage (88.4)…Field goal total ranked sixth in Florida history…Connected on 16 straight field goals to end career, tied for the second-longest streak in program history.

Sharga: Played three years at Temple, seeing action in 41 games…Played both fullback and linebacker at Temple…Totaled 150 career rushing yards on 21 carries with one TD…Added two career receptions for six yards…Defensively, totaled 30 career tackles (16 solo) with one tackle for loss.
