Another day, another draft pick signs. Saturday it was 6th round rookie Azeem Victor. Sunday after the final day of rookie minicamp, it was second round pick PJ Hall’s turn to put pen to paper, signing his rookie contract.
The deal is four years for an estimated at $4.7 million with a 2018 cap hit of $857K according to overthecap.com. Adjusted for top 51, the signing adds approximated $220K to the Raiders salary cap number this season.
Hall was selected 57th overall by the Raiders after they traded down from the 41 overall spot. The 6-0, 308-pound defensive lineman played in 56 games with 54 starts over his four-year career at Sam Houston State, amassing 284 tackles (160 solo), an FCS record 86.5 tackles for loss, 42.0 sacks, 9 forced fumbles, 33 passes defended and a school-record 14 blocked kicks.
The Raiders selected nine players in the draft, leaving seven still yet to sign.
