Raiders vs. Rams second half open thread

That first half was not quite as exciting as last week’s against the Lions. The Raiders and Rams aren’t playing very many starters, and as such the quality of this game is in the toilet. The Rams lead at halftime, 13-0.

Connor Cook has looked absolutely dreadful against the Rams, going 4/7 for 15 yards and a fumble. EJ Manuel replaced him in the second quarter and has gone 4/5 for 39 yards. Both QBs have been sacked once. Chris Warren III has rushed 5 times for 19 yards and has looked strong.

The only fun part of this game has been watching Gareon Conley actually play, and he looked pretty good, defending a pass and helping make an open-field tackle. Arden Key also played, but hasn’t done much to this point.

It’s difficult to believe that the Raiders are going to score any points in this game, considering how basic and ineffective their offensive playcalling has been. Enjoy watching the Nick Nelson Show in the second half.
