2018 NFL Hall of Fame Game: Bears vs. Ravens open thread

Chicago Bears v Baltimore Ravens

Raider Nation, are you ready for some football? The Great Raiderdamus is here once again to welcome you to another season of NFL football. Our long national nightmare is finally over tonight, as football returns with the annual Hall of Fame Game from beautiful and glamorous Canton, Ohio. The Chicago Bears will take on the Baltimore Ravens in Week Zero action.

The Ravens are led by the “elite” Joe Flacco, but he probably won’t be playing tonight. We will, however, see the remarkable 2016 Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson and the 2012 Heisman winner, Robert Griffin III. The Ravens will also utilize their ground attack led by underrated RB Alex Collins. We may also get our first look at new tackle Orlando Brown Jr against pro competition.

On the Bears’ side, they have done plenty to upgrade their team this offseason including giving their second-year QB Mitchell Trubisky some more weapons in the form of WR Allen Robinson and TE Trey Burton. The Bears remain locked in a contract dispute with their first-round pick, linebacker Roquan Smith.

Tonight’s game can be seen on NBC at 5 p.m. Pacific. Even though the Raiders aren’t playing, some football is better than no football. Go football!
