Whenever a young player is able to get a game winning touchdown under their belt it’s a big deal, preseason or not. This was that moment for Raiders undrafted free agent rookie running back Chris Warren III who managed that feat today against the Green Bay Packers.

It is awesome to see a Raiders win, especially one with a hard run like that to do it. People have had a field day with Jon Gruden’s “taking it back to 1998” comment, but this is what he means by it. Running the ball when everyone is expecting it and scoring anyway. That’s the hard nose, oldschool football that Gruden plans on bringing back to Oakland this year.
