Report: QB AJ McCarron to Raiders is latest among flurry of trades

NFL: Buffalo Bills at Chicago Bears Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

While we are still digesting the idea that Khalil Mack was traded to the Bears in one of the worst trades in history, the Raiders continue to wheel and deal. The latest was getting the backup QB they were unable to discover between EJ Manuel and Connor Cook.

AJ McCarron is coming to Oakland in a trade with the Bills, according to Ian Rapoport.

They send the Bills a fifth round pick in the deal.

The former Alabama QB was a 5th round pick in the same 2014 draft that yielded the Raiders Khalil Mack and Derek Carr. He spent his first four seasons as a backup in Cincinnati and last season as a backup in Buffalo. Now he will be a backup in Oakland!

Along with those two blockbuster trades, the Raiders also sent Shalom Luani to the Seahawks. No compensation has been revealed on that trade yet either.

All this and we still have no heard from the Raiders hopes to get something for Mario Edwards Jr in trade.
