You guys done getting shit on for one day? I hope not, because the pile is getting higher. Much higher. The Raiders are expected to released wide receiver Martavis Bryant according to ESPN’s Dan Graziano.
Source: As of the 4pm ET deadline, the Raiders were planning to release WR Martavis Bryant, who has a pending appeal of a drug suspension by the NFL. Raiders moves not yet officially announced.

From the very start, trading a third round pick in April’s draft for Martavis Bryant was a bad idea. It became even worse when Bryant was utterly disappointing in offseason and training camp. Now it’s a complete waste.
Everything about this is bad. The pick the Raiders used to acquire Bryant was part of their trade down in the first round of the draft with the Cardinals. The Cardinals wanted Josh Rosen in the draft as their franchise QB, so they moved up from 14 to 10 to get him. For a trade like that, the Raiders should have gotten more than just a third round pick.
They took their third round pick and sent it to Pittsburgh and with this news today, that means they got NOTHING for that trade down in the first round.
Wonderful. What a day. What. A. Day.
And it ain’t over yet.
