That went better than I thought! The Raiders lead the Los Angeles Rams, 13-10 at the half. The Jon Gruden Regime has shown that it can be creative on offense while still employing a hard-nosed, smash mouth approach and the Rams haven’t dealt with it very well.
The Raiders’ first touchdown of the season came as Marshawn Lynch bodied up the entirety of the Rams’ defense and dragged everyone into the end zone. That came after a 45-yard Jared Cook catch and run, and Cook has been the bane of LA’s existence tonight with 113 yards on six catches.
The Rams have done essentially nothing on offense, but have relied on two big pass interference penalties on the Raiders to move the ball into Oakland territory. Aside from those penalties, the Raiders defense has looked strong.
Enjoy the second half!
