A little college football scouting

I am looking forward to tomorrow's matchup between UGA and Mizzou and let me explain why:

While it is no secret that we will be taking a long look at a stacked DE draft next year, we also need to take a look at our offensive skill positions. Over the last few years, we really haven't been investing and draft capital here. Between WR, TE, and RB, we have invested three draft picks in rounds 1 through 4 in Reggie's tenure, one of which is not on the team, and one, who will be a free agent has a possible suspension hanging over his head.Remember, rookie contracts are cheap, and this is a part of why we have spent so much more money on offense than defense. So with that conclusion, what am I looking for in UGA/Mizzou is this:

Albert Okwuegbunam

Big dude, 6-5 260, great red zone target. Unlike so many college TEs, will line up attached to the O-line and is a willing blocker, but let's see how he handles this UGA front 7.

Emanuel Hall

Stretch the field. How much have we been yelling that lately? Everyone watching college football knows this kid can do it. Let see how he handles this game. He will most likely be lined up against DeAndre Baker for UGA, who is another potential 1st round pick, and may be the best corner Hall will have to play against.

Drew Lock may be getting a lot of hype, but his receivers help him out a lot. Lock has a big arm but does not have great accuracy, and depends on his receivers to have good hands. If you watch the highlights, you will notice just how often these two guys have either had to make a difficult catch, or a great adjustment on throws that are always a bit off.

UGA:

Riley Ridley

For UGA, the last couple of years has featured an awesome run game, leaving their receiving core as side show to the main event. Now that they RBs have been drafted, let's see how he handle being the focus of attention. And yes he's Calvin's brother.

Is there anyone else you will be watching before we skewer some fish?
