Raiders-Dolphins inactives: Pro Bowl safety Reshad Jones not playing

Last week Seth Roberts caught Derek Carr’s only touchdown pass of the season. This week he’s inactive. Last week Shilique Calhoun was on the practice squad. Now he’s active while Tank Carradine is not. Go figure.

Shockingly, safety Reshad Jones will not play today. He missed Wednesday’s practice with a shoulder injury but practiced the final two days. He was officially questionable. That’s could be a big loss for the Dolphins.

On the other hand, the Dolphins have the talented and versatile rookie defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick who will step in for him. Up to this point Fitzpatrick has been the team’s nickel corner. He was drafted with the ability to play whatever defensive back spot the Dolphins wanted him for. His presence is a great asset today.
