Greetings, Raider Nation! Today is Championship Game Day, and there are two games which will determine who goes to this year’s Super Bowl. We begin today in New Orleans at the Superdome for the NFC title game between the Saints and the Rams.

What a difference a coach makes! Before these two teams hired their current coaches, they were both godawful. The Saints floundered for years under the likes of Jim Mora and Mike Ditka, but suddenly became dangerous when they hired Sean Payton. He and free agent signing Drew Brees turned the team into bona fide contender and the two have already won a Super Bowl together. They got here today by handling Philadelphia at home last week, and the Super Bowl will also be held indoors, which should strike fear into the hearts of whomever they play should they win this game.

Their opponents today, the Rams, went 7-9 every year under Jeff Fisher, but became a powerhouse when they hired Sean McVay. With a ferocious defense and weapons all over the field for quarterback Jared Goff, they put up points like a pinball machine and can get after the quarterback as good as any team in the NFL. Can they get to Drew Brees today? Let’s find out.

This game can be seen on Fox at noon Pacific time. Enjoy the game!
