2019 NFL Playoffs Wild Card Colts vs. Texans open thread

NFL: Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Greetings, Raider Nation! The NFL Playoffs are upon us, and there are four games this weekend, beginning with two AFC South teams. The division-winning Texans will host the Indianapolis Colts, who may be the hottest team in football coming into these playoffs.

These teams didn’t look likely to make the playoffs at all early in the season, as Houston started 0-3 while the Colts started 1-5 and really only turned their season around until they played the Raiders.

However, both teams are now here, mostly on the back of their quarterback play. Andrew Luck has shown no ill effects from his time off to rehabilitate his shoulder. and G Quenton Nelson has been a beast in protecting him and was named to the All-Pro team.

Deshaun Watson has been similarly impressive and has been terrorizing defenses with his legs and arm alike. WR DeAndre Hopkins has emerged as the NFL’s best receiver, and Houston’s defense features some serious playmakers at every level.

The game can be seen on ESPN/ABC at 1:35 PM Pacific time. Enjoy the game!
