2019 NFL Playoffs Wild Card Cowboys vs. Seahawks open thread

NFL: Dallas Cowboys at Seattle Seahawks Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to the second game of the NFL Playoff weekend, as the Seattle Seahawks head to Arlington to take on the Dallas Cowboys. These two teams met earlier in the season, with Dallas losing at Seattle 24-13, but that was before the Cowboys traded for Amari Cooper.

The Cowboys cruised to a win in their division, and went on a long winning streak after trading for Cooper. The Cowboys passing game might have its hands full with a fierce Seattle defense, still chugging along despite the loss of many of their best defenders. Ezekiel Elliott won the NFL rushing title and sat last week’s game against the Giants out, so look for him to be fresh tonight.

Seattle also has success based on its running game, with RBs Chris Carson and Rashaad Penny combining with mobile QB Russell Wilson to spearhead a devastating run attack. If you key on the run, Wilson’s live arm can beat you deep as well. This should be a fun game tonight!

The Seahawks usually aren’t great on the road in the playoffs, but the Cowboys usually aren’t great in the playoffs at all, so what’s going to give? Catch this game on FOX at 5:15 PM Pacific. Enjoy the game!
