Raiders at Texans game time open thread

NFL: AFC Wild Card-Oakland Raiders at Houston Texans Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

This is a sneaky AFC game that features the seventh seeded Oakland Raiders against the sixth seeded Houston Texans. We’re getting closer to the playoffs, and the Raiders can climb into the hypothetical playoff picture with a win over Deshaun Watson and the Raiders today.

There should be plenty of points in this one. Both offenses haven’t had any problem moving the ball all season, and both defenses haven’t exactly looked like the ‘85 Chicago Bears. The only thing that’s stopped the Texans defense from looking worse than they are is because Houston has had quite the fumble luck this season.

The Raiders are 6.5 point underdogs in this one, with the total of the game at 48. That tells us Vegas is predicting a 27-20 victory for the Texans.

Here’s an open thread for today’s game. Feel free to share your predictions.
