There aren’t too many matchups that will keep you tuned in on the early slate of games. Most games are expected to be blowouts. The Seahawks figure to handle the Falcons with no issue. The Colts are at home against the Broncos. Indianapolis is a significantly better team. Drew Brews returns as the Saints starting quarterback. New Orleans is at home against Kyle Murray and the Arizona Cardinals, who have won three in a row.
The game that figures to be the closest features the Chargers on the road against the Bears. Keenan Allen was questionable headed into the game, but he’s going to give it a go. Minshew magic has worn off the last couple of weeks, but the Jacksonville Jaguars are hosting the New York Jets today. If the Jags can’t beat the Jets, then expect Nick Foles to get his job back. That was probably happening anyway.
The Rams host the Bengals. The Lions are at home against the Giants. Two close games that round out the morning schedule feature Tampa Bay on the road against the Titans and the Eagles traveling to Buffalo.
