When your next opponent is Aaron Rodgers, you can use all the help you can get in the secondary. Luckily for the Oakland Raiders, they have some extra help coming in and he has two weeks to get up to speed before seeing the field against the Packers. The 4 game suspension for Nevin Lawson is over, and he has now been brought to the active roster.
Nevin Lawson officially activated off suspension by #Raiders. They waive Lester Cotton Sr in corresponding move. Cotton had been activated from the practice squad last week. Likely headed back there should he clear waivers.

Unfortunately for Lester Cotton Sr., when one comes up then one must go down. We will see if he does indeed clear waivers and get added back to the practice squad.
As for Lawson, he is a 5 year NFL veteran with 194 tackles and 1 sack. He was drafted in 2014 by the Detroit Lions where he has started 54 games, including 14 last season. If he gets an interception as a Raider it will be the first of his career but he does have a forced fumble that he recovered and returned for a TD.
