NFL early window open thread

Sunday is upon us, and it couldn’t have come any sooner. There are eight early window games on tap for us today, but only one features two marquee teams. That marquee game will go down in Baltimore, as the Texans travel to the East Coast in what could be a potential playoff preview.

Other games to keep an eye on that have implications for the Raiders include the Bills vs. Dolphins, Broncos vs. Vikings and Jaguars vs. Colts. The Bills sit a game ahead of Oakland in the AFC wildcard race and an upset from Miami coupled with a win today could propel the Raiders to the No. 5 seed. The Broncos and Vikings game doesn’t have a major impact on Oakland, but it’s always fun to root against Denver.

Meanwhile, you’ll want to keep a close eye on the Jags and Colts. The Raiders own the head-to-head tiebreaker with Indianapolis and will see the Jags at home on Dec. 15.
