Raiders Wednesday injury report: Brown, Hudson, Jacobs all limited

New, comments
NFL: Cincinnati Bengals at Oakland Raiders Darren Yamashita-USA TODAY Sports

The Raiders elected to only hold a walkthrough at practice today in hopes of giving players some additional time to rest and recover.

With studs such as Trent Brown, Rodney Hudson and Josh Jacobs all battling injuries for the better part of the season, allowing them to practice in limited fashion during a walkthrough session is a good way to give them a partial day off. The Raiders will need all three on Sunday as they take on one of the league’s best run defenses.

Lamarcus Joyner and David Sharpe both did not participate on Wednesday after being held out against the Bengals in Week 11. If Joyner is unable to play this Sunday, Nevin Lawson will have a tough task handling Jamison Crowder.

Adam Gase likes to feature Crowder out of the slot with an array of drag and whip routes that will test Lawson or Joyner in coverage.
