Raiders-Jets inactives: Joyner and Sharpe OUT, Nevin Lawson to start at slot corner

The Week 12 inactives are out and there are not many surprises for the Raiders. Lamarcus Joyner was listed as questionable and traveled with the team, but was a long shot to play as he continues to nurse the hamstring injury he suffered in Week 10.

Nevin Lawson will be the man at slot corner this week. Newly signed linebacker Preston Brown is also inactive. He was never able to get up to full speed with the playbook. Expect to see him in action next week.

There’s nothing of note for the Jets. Mosley has been out most of the year and is now considering season ending surgery. Cornerback Darryl Roberts has played 80 percent of the defensive snaps for the Jets, so his absence will be missed.
