As we saw this past Sunday, the Raiders still have myriad holes throughout the roster.
While they employ a young core of recent draftees and acquisitions who should form a sturdy foundation for a winning culture, this team is still clearly a long way from being a true contender in the AFC.
Through this season, the Raiders have tried and failed to find solutions to their depth problems at linebacker and wide receiver. The defensive line has improved steadily and has an interesting blend of youth and depth, but as the 49ers have showcased, a dominant defensive front can change the complexion of a team.
Elsewhere, the Raiders could stand to upgrade at cornerback and maybe even at guard considering Richie Incognito’s advanced age and the fact that Gabe Jackson is seemingly slowing down week by week.
With that said, I’d like to know what you think the Raiders greatest position of need is?
