After Trent Brown was injured last week and was not able to finish the game, there was speculation whether he would be active in Week 10 due to the quick turnaround on a short week. It appears he will give it a go.
Another member of the offensive line who did not play last week is Rodney Hudson. Hudson had been dealing with an ankle injury and despite getting in a limited practice on Friday, he was made inactive on Sunday against the Lions.
This is great news for the offense. The line has only been at full strength for a handful of plays this season.
The defensive end position will be thin this week for the Raiders. Earlier today, Arden Key was placed on IR, while Josh Mauro is down for the second week in a row. Look for Clelin Ferrell to have a break out game with some extra opportunities to rush Phillip Rivers.
Raiders
QB DeShone Kizer
WR Keelan Doss
WR/RS Dwayne Harris
T Brandon Parker
C Erik Magnuson
DE Josh Mauro
CB Keisean Nixon
The Chargers will be without starting right tackle Sam Tevi and safety Roderic Teamer. With Teamer out, Darren Waller could have big-time game after a quiet past two weeks. Look for Gruden to take advantage and allow Waller to work the middle of the field.
Phillip Rivers has been sacked 16 times on the year, so let’s hope Paul Guenther heats things up a little with stunts and blitzes to test Tevi’s replacement.
Chargers
QB Easton Stick
WR Geremy Davis
RB Justin Jackson
S Roderic Teamer
T Sam Tevi
DT Cortez Broughton
DT Justin Jones
