It’s here. The game that fans have been looking forward to for weeks. A Week 13 showdown that could propel the Raiders into first place in the AFC West via conference record tie-breaker.
The Raiders stormed out to a 10-0 lead against the Chiefs in Week 2, but faltered by way of multiple blown coverages as they gave up a 28-point second quarter that defined the game. The Raiders have a shot of redemption today at Arrowhead Stadium in sub-40 degree weather. Redemption for Week 2 and for last week’s no-show against the New York Jets.
There’s a simple formula for the Raiders today. Run the ball on Kansas City’s poor run defense, control the clock and limit the damage Patrick Mahomes can cause. If the Raiders follow those steps, they can find a way to upset a Chiefs team favored by 11 points.
Here’s your open game thread, ya’ filthy animals. Go Raiders!
