With only two weeks left, the NFL has done away with Thursday Night Football and put three Saturday games in place. I’m not complaining. This is the best time of year for football. Bowl season is upon us and NFL games mean more and more with each passing week.
The fact that the Raiders are somehow still infinitesimally involved in the playoff hunt makes it even better.
At 10am PT, the 9-5 Texans take on the 7-7 Buccaneers.
At 1:30 PT, the 10-4 Bills will try to knock off the 11-3 Patriots.
And then in primetime at 5:15 PT, the 8-6 Rams try to keep their playoff hopes alive against the 11-3 49ers.
Each of these games should be relatively evenly matched, and they’ll showcase different types of football to boot!
The Texans and Bucs should provide some high-flying offense, the Bills and Patriots will be hunkered down in the trenches, and the 49ers and Rams will both try to run it down each other’s throats with high-powered rushing attacks.
Here’s your open game thread for Saturday’s games!
