Friday Injury Report: Josh Jacobs and Richie Incognito both doubtful for Sunday

New, comments
NFL: Oakland Raiders at New York Jets Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

While the Raiders were missing a plethora of starters at Thursday’s practice, the only players carrying a designation heading into Sunday’s game are Josh Jacobs and Richie Incognito, who are both listed as doubtful.

Although both are listed as doubtful, head coach Jon Gruden suggested that he “wouldn’t be surprised if the tee it up Sunday.”

Of the six starters who did not participate on Thursday, Jacobs and Incognito did not practice, while Tyrell Williams was limited.

The Raiders really need all hands on deck to grab a win against a Broncos team that is 3-1 with Drew Lock under center, so the fact that Trayvon Mullen and Lamarcus Joyner are both good to go should be music to the ears of Raider Nation.

On the Denver front, three offensive linemen have been ruled out for Sunday, including Elijah Wilkinson, the man who has been filling in for Ja’Wuan James at right tackle. With Wilkinson out, the Broncos may be forced to start either career journeyman Jake Rodgers, or rookie UDFA Calvin Anderson, who has yet to log a single NFL snap.

If the Broncos offensive line can’t hold up, Lock might be running for his life with Maxx Crosby hot on his tail all game.
