Monday Night Football open game thread

NFL: New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

This week’s edition of Monday Night Football pits two NFC East rivals against each other in a game that may be Eli Manning’s last ever as a starting quarterback for the New York Giants.

The Giants travel to Philadelphia to take on an Eagles team that has underperformed relative to expectations. Currently, the Giants sit with a lowly 2-10 record and are in a position to finish with the No. 2 pick in the draft. If that draft placement holds up, they’ll likely grab Chase Young out of Ohio State.

While the Eagles are 9.5-point favorites and are the obvious pick, don’t count Manning out completely. Philadelphia has shown to be rather incompetent against the NFL’s basement teams, losing to the Dolphins last week.

Here’s your open game thread. Isn’t it crazy that this could be the last game we ever see from Manning? He certainly isn’t riding off into the sunset like his older brother.
