During his tenure with the Raiders, Bruce Irvin earned himself the nickname “Baby Reggie” for his penchant for taking to social media to publicly court free agents to join him in Oakland. Now that Irvin is no longer a Raider, a void has been left but it looks like his one time protege, Arden Key is picking up the slack.
On Monday, Key began the recruitment of several potential free agents on twitter. The list of names includes Tyrann Mathieu, Landon Collins, Jadeveon Clowney, Kwon Alexander, and Brandon Graham.
@Mathieu_Era @kwon @clownejd @TheHumble_21 @brandongraham55 y’all come be a Oakland Raider!!! Let’s change the culture around here and I know y’all want to be in Vegas!

Entering his second year in the league, Key doesn’t carry the same name recognition or resume as Bruce Irvin but that isn’t stopping the youngster. The Raiders will rely on several young players to grow up quickly and take on leadership roles, Key is taking the initiative to be that guy.
Y’all come be a Oakland Raider!!! Let’s build something special!!!!

This is a huge offseason for the Raiders and obviously the team feels that. Even though the franchise is rebuilding the players want to win now. An influx of talent is needed, if the Raiders can nail down a couple high end free agents and hit on some draft picks that would certainly speed up the process.
