You’d never know it was the weekend with how busy the Raiders have been. Just hours after learning they would be trading left guard Kelechi Osemele to the Jets, they re-signed defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins on a 2-year deal according to ESPN’s Adam schefter.
And another strong move for the Raiders: Oakland reached agreement on a two-year deal with DL Jonathan Hankins, per source.

While Osemele’s departure creates a gaping hole at left guard, re-signing Hankins fills one. It completes the defensive tackle rotation for the team.
After signing with the Raiders following week one of last season, Hankins started every game at the nose tackle spot. He will rotate with Justin Ellis while Maurice Hurst and PJ Hall are expected to rotate at the 3-tech DT spot.
