A few years ago the start of free agency meant something. But ever since they made the tampering that teams and agents were doing anyway legal and called it the free agent negotiating period, now THAT’s the time when everything happens. And we know who will be gone before free agency starts. That’s just when it becomes official.
Day one saw a lot of top free agents get scooped up. The Raiders joined in, nabbing tackle Trent Brown and defensive back LaMarcus Joyner along with trading for wide receiver Antonio Brown.
