DRC has landed in DC. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, who abruptly retired from the Raiders midway through last season, only to u-retire a week ago, has signed on in Washington.

The 32-year-old signed with the Raiders last season came right about the time the team learned they would be without Daryl Worley for the first four games of the season. His retirement came two days after he was relegated to special teams.

I guess if Jon Gruden saw no use for the former Pro Bowler on his team’s defense, his brother Jay might be able to use him. It probably helps that Rodgers-Cromartie will be teaming up with former Giants teammate Landon Collins who this week signed a huge free agent deal with Washington.

In other recent former Raiders free agent news, Mario Edwards Jr has signed with the Saints. The former Raiders 2nd round pick spent last season with the Giants, collecting two sacks.
