After missing out on defensive end Markus Golden, who played under new Raiders DL coach Brentson Buckner in Arizona, the Raiders have signed another former Cardinals defensive lineman, Josh Mauro according to multiple reports including Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post.

The 27-year-old played defensive tackle for the Cardinals for three seasons from 2015-17 before playing last season with the Giants. He is a run stopper mostly, putting up just 3.0 career sacks in five NFL seasons.

The 6-6, 280-pounder would figure to play the DT/DE role for the Raiders much the same as Frostee Rucker plays. Rucker had no sacks last season.
