NFL Scouting Combine 2019 results, top performers: Duo of Iowa tight ends dominate the field

Teammates at Iowa, Noah Fant and TJ Hockenson are neck and neck as the top rated tight end in this year’s draft. Today at the combine they went head to head during the on field drills.

Fant was declared the big winner. If the Raiders decide to let Jared Cook walk in free agency, Noah Fant would be an ideal replacement based on their similar skill set and athletic ability.

Cook is 6 foot 5, 254 pounds. He ran a 4.50 forty, 23 reps on the bench, 41.0 vertical jump, and a 123.0 broad jump at his combine. Nearly the identical measurables as Fant.
