Monday and Tuesday it was linebackers making visits to Oakland. Wednesday it’s defensive backs including former Bengals and Vikings safety George Iloka, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The #Raiders are hosting former #Vikings S George Iloka on a visit, source said. The ex-#Bengal can play free or strong and is a logical fit for DC Paul Guenther, whose unit still needs a talent upgrade.

The #Raiders are hosting a few more DBs, other than George Iloka today: Source said FA CB Tyler Patmon and S Curtis Riley are also in town for a visit.

The other three reported visits are cornerbacks Tyler Patmon and Nevin Lawson and safety Curtis Riley.
Obviously Iloka carries the familiarity with Raiders Defensive Coordinator Paul Guenther, which would figure to put him at an advantage over the others at his position in the same way Vontaze Burfict had a leg up on the other linebackers the team hosted.
The 6-4, 225-pound Iloka is the big safety the Raiders could be looking for to compete with 6-3 Erik Harris as the starter alongside Karl Joseph.
The first defensive signing the Raiders made was 5-8 LaMarcus Joyner, but Joyner’s primary job will be nickel corner.
Riley started every game at free safety last season for the Giants. It was the 26-year-old’s first season as a fulltime starter. He collected 4 interceptions.
Patmon has played for the Cowboys, Dolphins, and Jaguars over four NFL seasons with 4 career starts.
