The same day top draft pass rusher Josh Allen said he would be making a pre-draft visit to Oakland, it has come to light that top interior defensive lineman Quinnen Williams would be doing the same.
Williams’ agent told The Athletic that his client would be paying the 49ers and Raiders both a visit in the same trip next month. The 49ers have the 2nd overall pick and the Raiders the 4th overall selection.
The Alabama star is widely considered one of the top prospects in this draft at any position and it not expected to last past the top five picks.
At 6-4, 289 pounds, he is a force from the interior. Last season he put up 8.0 sacks and 19.5 tackles for loss for the Crimson Tide.
With the 4th overall pick, the Raiders are doing their homework on all the top prospects, not just for their own potential interest, but for the potential interest of any teams looking to trade up to grab them.
