The Raiders had former Bengals and Vikings safety George Iloka in for a visit earlier in the week, but whatever happened during that visit, signing a contract wasn’t one of the events that materialized. This evening, Iloka’s destination for next season was revealed.
#Cowboys are signing S George Iloka, source says.

The Cowboys had also visited with safeties Clayton Geathers and Eric Berry, but apparently Iloka was the choice for them. Oakland passed on Iloka for whatever reason (probably money, since he’s been a fit in Paul Guenther’s scheme before) and instead signed former Giants safety Curtis Riley.
Financial details are not yet known, but one imagines Iloka will earn a good bit more than Riley will this year. Should the Raiders still seek safety help, the aforementioned Geathers and Berry remain on the market. The Raiders could also look at safety in the later rounds of the upcoming Draft.
