Antonio Brown essentially broke the news himself about being traded to the Raiders, just as he said he would, and that’s well in line with a guy who marches to the beat of his own drum. But once that happened, the story broke that the trade agreement was made.

Reaction from players didn’t pour in as quickly as usual, because the news broke past midnight on the East Coast when Brown’s former teammates and much of the media was likely asleep. But there were a few Raiders players awake to hear the news, including quarterback Derek Carr, upon whom it falls to keep Brown fed and happy.
