While the Raiders were hosting 38 players in their local pro day, off to the side, Mike Mayock was casually chatting with someone. It was Nick Bosa, making his official pre-draft visit to the team.

Widely considered the draft’s top pass rusher, Bosa is expected to be selected in the top two picks, with most mock drafts having the 49ers taking him at number two overall. That is unless the Raiders were to get aggressive and use a couple of their four picks in the top 35 to move up a couple picks to get the Ohio State star.
It’s is probably the most well known fact in the draft that the Raiders are desperate for a pass rusher, so I wouldn’t put it past them to do it. And the 49ers wouldn’t lose much by dropping two spots. Well, I mean, outside of the draft’s top pass rusher. But they made a trade with the Chiefs this offseason to acquire edge rusher Dee Ford, so they have already made a move the Raiders have not.
