The pre-draft visits continue in Oakland this week, starting with one of the draft’s top tight ends. Iowa’s Noah Fant is in town according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The #Raiders are hosting #Iowa TE Noah Fant today, source said. They pick No. 4 and No. 24 (and No. 27).

Fant is widely considered one of the top two tight ends in this draft along with his Iowa teammate TJ Hockenson. Many expect Hockenson to be selected long before the Raiders pick at 24, making Fant the more plausible pick.
With the team losing Jared Cook in free agency, Fant is probably the best prospect to replace Cook’s production on the team. They have similar skillsets as big, fast, athletic receiving tight ends.
The 6-5, 240-pounder put up 1013 yards and 18 touchdowns over the past two seasons for the Hawkeyes.
