It’s pretty clear at this point the Raiders are leaving no stone unturned among the draft’s top prospects. Owning the 4th overall pick, they are making sure they get a long look at every one of them.

Last week they had the draft’s top pass rusher, Nick Bosa for a very public visit, putting him on the sideline for the media to see during their local pro day. This week, the widely consider second best pass rusher, Josh Allen is in the house, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Later this week they will host Michigan defensive end Rashan Gary as well according to Tom Pelissero.

Top defensive linemen Quinnen Williams and Ed Oliver had already visited a couple weeks ago. Edge rusher Montez Sweat visited the same day as Williams.

It isn’t just the defensive linemen stopping in, though. Top linebacker Devin White will visit Wednesday and Devin Bush visited last week.

Along with their several private meetings with quarterbacks Kyler Murray and Dwayne Haskins, the Raiders have met with probably every player expected to go in the top ten of this draft. That approach not only helps them do their homework, but keeps everyone guessing as to who they are looking at with their top pick. They must establish that they could take anyone so as to keep the other teams on their toes.
