We’re covering this year’s draft from across the country this year with myself reporting from Raiders headquarters in Alameda and Tyler out in Nashville for the festivities.

It was an eventful first round for the Raiders as it would inevitably be. Whether that was because they moved around the draft board or simply used their three first round selections on players. They ended up doing the latter, reeling in edge rusher Clelin Ferrell at 4, running back Josh Jacobs at 24, and safety Johnathan Abram at 27.

Tyler and I discuss those top picks, giving our thoughts, criticisms and defense of those picks. We also delve into what the Raiders could do with their pick at 35. Could this be when they finally make a trade? They still don’t have a third round pick, so if they simply make their pick at 35, their day two could be over as soon as it begins. But if they make the pick, there are a lot of good prospects still out there.
