After trading out of the 109th overall pick with the Colts and adding the 129th and 135th picks, the Raiders traded out of the 135th pick again, dropping two picks to 137 and picking up pick 230 in the seventh.

With the 137th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Raiders selected LSU tight end Foster Moreau. At 6’4” and 253 lbs, Moreau has good size, and will join a deep tight end group. Oakland has a need at the position after letting Jared Cook walk in free agency.

While he isn’t a star pass catcher, Moreau’s value comes as a blocker as he shows an effective feel for pass protection and is a violent run blocker. He earned Practice Honors at the 2019 Senior Bowl in which the Raiders helped to coach.
