Raiders sign UDFA WR Brian Burt

Today the Raiders announced they have signed former Fresno State Bulldogs WR Brian Burt, who was an invite to their rookie minicamp.

Burt primarily served as a kick returner at Fresno State, though he was an all-purpose running back at Ventura College for the first two years of his college career. He totaled 87 rushes for 563 yards and four touchdowns, to go along with 14 catches for 212 yards and two more scores.

Burt only appeared in seven games over his two years at Fresno and didn’t have any rushing or receiving stats, but he ran a blistering 4.31 at the Bulldogs’ Pro Day, earning him an invite to Raider camp, where he clearly impressed someone with his speed and special teams ability.
