Since the odds first came out earlier this offseason on which teams Vegas oddsmakers had as the favorite to be featured on HBO’s Hard Knocks, it was all about the Raiders. They were even odds to be on the show. The latest odds, however, say that has shifted.

The Raiders now sit at 5/2 odds according to betonline.ag and have dropped to second in the odds behind Washington who is at just a hair below even odds.

Washington: 5/4

Oakland Raiders: 5/2

New York Giants: 3/1

Detroit Lions: 7/2

San Francisco 49ers: 9/1

So, it’s the Gruden brothers atop the odds. Interesting.

It’s unclear what may have moved the needle for the oddsmakers and the change in odds doesn’t necessarily mean anything in terms of which team will ultimately be selected. They have have already been selected, but an announcement has yet to be made.

The 49ers were already the least favored, but tecent reports are that Hard Knocks didn’t favor them either, distanced them farther.

The Giants’ odds have gone up probably because they have such a complete shitshow this offseason, they are giving Hard Knocks a pretty intriguing option.
