We’re all very excited to see the new-look Raiders this upcoming season, but the very first place we as fans will get to experience the 2019 Raiders is on Madden 2020, which will be released on August 2 for Playstation and Xbox. Today the full ratings for all the players came out, and there are plenty of highly rated Raiders this year.
While Antonio Brown was a little salty last week about not being a part of the group of players rated 99 this year (as he was last year), he didn’t fall far and was rated 98 in the game.
The next highest-rated Raider is center Rodney Hudson with an overall rating of 93. This is no real surprise, as Hudson is arguably the best center in football, and he’ll be key in pass protection as your virtual Derek Carr throws to his highly rated weapons.
The highest rated Raider defender is free agent signee Lamarcus Joyner, clocking in at a respectable 85. He’s listed as a free safety in the game, so user-controlling him in the secondary to play center field and get easy picks might be a winning strategy.
Rounding out the top five are Tyrell Williams at 83 and Carr at 80. Williams has a 92 Speed rating and it looks like he’ll be a great deep threat in the game as well as in real life. I can’t find Carr’s passing-specific scores, but he’ll probably have good deep-ball and mid-range accuracy. EA Sports seems to think highly of the team’s new acquisitions, as three of the top five Raiders are new to the team this season.
Gareon Conley is sixth with a rating of 79, but I imagine that will go up during the season as Conley proves himself a top-flight shutdown corner. In fact, Derek Carr believes that will happen to many players on the Raider roster.
They were just leaving us room to adjust us up ☝ https://t.co/YGMhz19gEg— Derek Carr (@derekcarrqb) July 15, 2019
With all the firepower at Oakland’s disposal, they should be one of the most fun franchises to utilize in Madden 20. You can find all the Raiders’ Madden ratings for this season right here.
