The Raiders today announced that they have signed WR Demornay Pierson-El, who spent the spring 2019 season with the Salt Lake Stallions of the AAF and also spent time in 2018 with Washington and the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL.

During his time with the Stallions, the 5-foot-9, 195-pound wide receiver recorded 36 receptions for 414 yards (11.5 avg.) and one touchdown. Pierson-El’s receptions and receiving yards both led the team through the eight games the team played in before the AAF folded.

Pierson-El had been signed previously by the Raiders on April 8, but was then waived on April 30 following the NFL Draft. In a corresponding move, the Raiders waived Saeed Blacknall, a 2018 undrafted free agent from Penn State who spent time on the practice squad last season and was a reserve/future signee in January.
