Tonight the Raiders are in Arizona to take on the Cardinals for their second preseason game of 2019. Some starters are expected to play, though it remains to be seen which ones will be suited up.
Gruden already said the starters got their most extensive work against the Rams in their scrimmage at training camp last week, so if we do see the starters, it probably won’t be for long.
It would be nice to see both teams field their starters at least for a couple series. Specifically it would be nice to see the Raiders defense face number one overall pick Kyler Murray. Either way, we’ll at least get to see all the depth players see if they can duplicate or improve upon their performance in the preseason opener which they won 14-3.
Tune in to see.
