Antonio Brown to see foot specialist for blistered feet

We’ve all seen videos of Antonio Brown practicing and working out like crazy this offseason. In Paris, on the beaches of Hawaii, in South Florida, and in parks all over Northern California. But perhaps Brown overdid it, as evidenced by the fact that he’s missed all but one day of training camp with an injury.

We pretty much know what the injury is, as Brown posted a picture of his feet on his Instagram a few days ago. I won’t repost it here, just in case any of my readers are eating lunch. It isn’t pretty. But Brown is now seeking treatment for his ailment:

The bad news here is that the blisters are serious enough to see a doctor about. The good news is that blisters come and go and can be treated. He doesn’t, as far as we know, have an ankle or knee or groin injury that might linger. in addition, Brown is likely not playing in the preseason anyway, so this just means more opportunity for the fringe receivers on the Raiders team to show what they can do without Brown getting reps. Unfortunately, it also means the corners and safeties aren’t facing the best wideout in football.

Hopefully, Brown will be over his foot problems soon and can get back on the practice field and continue to execute his Big Chicken Plan.
