The Raiders have had plenty of surprising and depressing cuts today, and another one has just bitten the dust.
Thanking The Oakland Raiders organization for the opportunity. Thanking my brothers for every second at war along side them. Thanking Raider Nation for the support along the way (or lack there of at times ✊ ). But… https://t.co/i5AtXnYDTL

Fullback Keith Smith missed some time with injury at the start of training camp, opening the door for UDFA fullback Alex Ingold out of Wisconsin. Smith scored a touchdown against the Packers in Winnipeg, but it looks as though Ingold did enough to win the job over the veteran Smith.
There aren’t many teams which still use a fullback as the Raiders do, but Smith is solid at the position and should get another shot somewhere. As it is, it looks like Jon Gruden and the Raiders are rolling with the former Badger Ingold, who adds talent with his blocking and in the passing game as well.
