The Raiders’ practice squad is now up to five players, with the additions of two more offensive guys.
TE Eric Saubert signed to Oakland’s practice squad, per source
— Nick Underhill (@nick_underhill) September 1, 2019
Saubert is a 6’5” tight end who was drafted in 2017 by the Falcons in the fifth round and spent last year with the Patriots before getting cut yesterday.
.@DamareaCrockett tells me he will be on the #Raiders practice squad. Crockett is a rookie running back from #Mizzou and played with the Texans in the preseason.

Crockett rushed six times for 24 yards and a touchdown in the Texans’ first preseason game, though he was passed over by Houston in favor of Karan Higdon. Crockett rushed for 709 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior, and as a freshman set the Missouri freshman rushing record with 1,062 yards and 10 scores. He has loads of talent and could benefit from some development time on a practice squad.
