The second injury report of the week is when we get a good feel for which injuries are serious and which ones are not. Thursday, JJ Nelson missed his second straight practice and Gareon Conley was once again a participant. Defensive coordinator Paul Guenther thinks Conley will start Sunday vs the Chiefs.

“Yeah, he’s good to go. Gareon [Conley] is good,” said Guenther. “He was good after the game. He just went and got checked out. He was coming back to the stadium before we were getting ready to leave, so he’s been here practicing.”

Though Conley was officially listed as limited on the injury report, Guenther said Conley was a full participant in practice.

As for Nelson, he was limited last week with an ankle injury and played in the game, but may have aggravated the injury because he played just 8 snaps and is now not practicing.

Corey Liuget is still limited with a knee injury. He was inactive vs the Broncos after going into the game as questionable. We’ll see if that changes this week.
